I can’t tell you how happy I am that we are finally in March. December to February was actually quite mild compared to last year, and those who came out to tour actually enjoyed good weather for the season, but I am just really looking forward to spring.
A handful of wineries have already released their 2017 Rose which is a nice little indicator for me. It means the busy season is upon us, and we are in the calm before the storm. I have tried a few of these symbolic wines already, and they are excellent. I have also been trying the 2016 Pinots as they have come out and they are also very tasty.
I think those who come to visit the WIllamette Valley this year will have a lot to look forward too. I am excited to get going.
